    Tracylee Arestides | General Manager

    Tracylee joined the organisation in September 2024 on a short-term contract. With over 25 years’ experience in advocacy and information within the disability sector, she brings deep knowledge and leadership to her role. Tracylee was formerly appointed the role of General Manager in August 2025. Having begun her career in the community sector in Surry Hills, Tracylee also has long-standing family ties to the Cross and its surrounds.

    Maree Sheehan | Project Officer

    Originally from Auckland, Aotearoa, New Zealand, Maree has over 30 years’ experience in event management and volunteer coordination, from the Sydney 2000 Olympics to Mardi Gras. Always on the hunt for the perfect flat white or gin martini, she brings energy, expertise, and a love of community to everything she does. She has lived locally for the past 20 years.

    Yann Vignes | Shop Manager

    A long-time resident of the Cross, Yann has his finger on the pulse of all things local. After many years in the film industry and other ventures, he brought his creativity and flair to the Kings Cross Community Op Shop, adding a true je ne sais quoi to the space.

    Jo Carter | Administrator

    Jo Carter is an experienced accountant in the international film and television industry, known for her precision and professionalism. She is currently our Administration Manager, valued for her approachable nature and strong commitment to the community.

    A long-time Darlinghurst and Kings Cross local of over 40 years, Jo is passionate about working with people and making a meaningful impact. Outside of work, she supports the Sydney Swans and enjoys polishing rocks and crystals to sell at markets.

    Ross Johnson | List Shopping

    A man of many talents, Ross is a skilled sound engineer and musician who also lends his time to the Centre’s Tuesday shopping bus. He assists with shopping and deliveries for our list shopping service, always bringing good energy and reliability to the team.

    Simon Davies | Project Officer | Tracking the Cross

    With a long background in corporate leadership and strategic consulting, Simon has spent much of his career driving transformation and operational excellence—initially as a senior airline executive and later as a strategy consultant serving a broad range of Mining, Insurance and Retail clients.

    A proud Darlo local who has lived all over the world, Simon has come out of semi-retirement to help lead our upcoming community research project Tracking The Cross. Simon brings fresh enthusiasm and curiosity to the KXCC Team.

    Kathy Parker | Bus Assistant | Playgroup Co-ordinator

    The newest member of the KXCC team, Kathy brings a wealth of experience and warmth. A registered NDIS support worker and long-time volunteer ‘mum’, she also spent many years working in the higher education sector. Kathy is also our new Playgroup Co-ordinator at Plunkett Street Public School in Woolloomooloo, starting in late April.
