KXCC Members Approve New Constitution
On behalf of the Kings Cross Community Centre Board, we are delighted to announce that members unanimously supported the adoption of a new Constitution at the Special General Meeting held on Tuesday 16 June.
The resolution passed was:
"That the Constitution of the Kings Cross Community Centre Incorporated, adopted on 14 December 2016, is repealed and replaced with the Constitution attached to this notice, to take effect upon registration by the NSW Department of Fair Trading."
This important milestone follows a thorough review process and consultation with members.
The Chair moved a vote of thanks to Andrew Wells and Ruth Heazlewood for their significant work in developing the new Constitution, as well as to all KXCC members who contributed feedback during the consultation period. Their time, expertise and commitment have helped ensure the Constitution reflects the needs and aspirations of our organisation and community.
We thank all members who participated in the process and continue to support the governance and future direction of Kings Cross Community Centre.
