Volunteer x Board Celebration
Our recent celebration of the new office space with the KXCC Board, staff and volunteers was a great chance to get together.
We heard from our Chair, Lisa Cotton, on the progress of creating our 3 year strategic plan and an announcement on how our discretionary funding will be used to benefit our community.
Thanks to everyone who came along.
Singing Lessons with Paula Terry
Paula Terry, a Potts Point resident and gifted vocalist, is celebrated for her ability to traverse a wide spectrum of genres with ease. Together with her band, she regularly brings the house down at Sean & Dolly’s on William Street, Clair's Kitchen and Potts Point Hotel delivering crowd-favourite 90’s revival hits. Beyond the stage, Paula shares her artistry with the next generation, teaching and mentoring aspiring singers with the same passion she brings to every performance. We are delighted to announce that Paula is giving a series of singing lessons for KXCC members, volunteers and local residents. The lessons are weekly over six weeks and especially suitable for people over 60.
New Board Appointed
Our new Kings Cross Community Centre Board for 2026 was voted in by our membership at our Annual General Meeting in late November 2025.
Tracking The Cross
Kings Cross Community Centre is proud to announce the launch of its latest project, Tracking the Cross, a research study into the lives and needs of people over 60 living in our neighbourhood. If you live in the 2010 or 2011 postcodes you may have already received one in the post, a short questionnaire survey with a letter explaining how it works. Please help KXCC improve its services and extend its outreach by participating fully.
Response to Bondi Tragedy
Community is at the heart of everything Kings Cross Community Centre does and stands for. Our hearts go out to the community in Bondi on this sad day. We stand with you. And we stand against division and hatred.
